Job Description: Mother

So Austin was over at Jen's house the other day, and she asked him what I did all day. This was his response:

"She feeds babies...and changes diapers...and takes care of babies...(pause)...And on Sunday's, she goes to church."

Em-Let me be the first to tell you again what an AMAZING mother you are! I am reminded just how amazing you are each week that I come to help with the babies. You seem to handle it "all" so well. Much better than I could. Just remember, this is your "season" for doing just what you are doing-raising 5 precious spirits. Love ya!

Well, there you have it! I love hearing kids describe what we do...like recently when Emma said that when you're pregnant, you "be lazy and lay around on the couch." Ah, thank you.

Love it! At least he realizes what you do- and didn't say "Nothing." :-)

Jen- That's even funnier. I don't even get credit for being religious myself.

Sooo funny! I would be scared to hear what my kids think I do all day. Their perspective is so entertaining. The other day in the car Ethan said to me "What do principals do? Just sit in their office?" It took some thinking and explaining to convince him that his principal really does have serious responsibilities.
