We go to bed really late, because we want to have time to talk, and don't get that when the kids are awake. (they don't sleep until 9ish) We also go on dates fairly regularly even if it's just the dollar movies. Making the time for us has been really important for my personal happiness and sanity.Lizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08485099445814328196noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2830537888577247934.post-86558115140035776372010-08-01T21:05:37.653-06:002010-08-01T21:05:37.653-06:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.怡徐元怡徐元https://www.blogger.com/profile/10459494860645212175noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2830537888577247934.post-1069254826823453652010-07-30T20:00:23.057-06:002010-07-30T20:00:23.057-06:00LOL...I am only laughing at the above asian post. ...LOL...I am only laughing at the above asian post. I have had a few of those as well...and also some sort of advertisement post that I tried to delete but it kept coming back- like 17 times.

Anyway...I loved your post and totally agree with everything you said. Although, Spence and I never did any of those things you called "cheesy and corny." I wish we would have though!

So glad you got to get away without the kiddos- you totally deserve it!Jackiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07765120998174667394noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2830537888577247934.post-15380149350039061182010-07-29T18:36:19.476-06:002010-07-29T18:36:19.476-06:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2830537888577247934.post-64600119083027139362010-07-29T12:44:42.052-06:002010-07-29T12:44:42.052-06:00I think "us" isn't, and shouldn'...I think "us" isn't, and shouldn't be, stagnant. Well into my eleventh year of marriage, I’m beginning to recognize how easy it is to push my relationship with my husband to the bottom of the list of things to attend to. And as I write that, I feel a lump in my throat and tears coming. Of all my relationships and all my commitments, this one bends most readily. Why? My other responsibilities scream at me (in the case of the kids and a few coworkers, I mean that literally.) I think we’ve become good at cutting each other slack, being very forgiving. That’s a good thing! But not if it comes at the expense of neglecting each other. Every once in a while, something else needs to give way for “us.”Mommy O'Marahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12200915421434776209noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2830537888577247934.post-37699071679321889572010-07-27T12:29:22.483-06:002010-07-27T12:29:22.483-06:00I read your blog.
